Taneytown`s
Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, sponsored by the Taneytown Main
Street Committee, will be held on Saturday, November 26 beginning at
5:30 P.M. at the Taneytown Police Station. Our local churches will
announce the ceremony with their church bells ringing in unison at
5:30 P.M. to gather our community together. Bring your family and
friends for community singing of carols to start the holiday season.
We will have a surprise visitor join us during the ceremony. For more
